We are pleased to host the penultimate seminar in our series on Friday the 15th of April where we will continue to dissect the theme of Ireland in Crisis, on this occasion ‘democracy in crisis.’ A selection of speakers will discuss democracy in the context of a wide array of issues; ranging from GM foods, to oil and gas, to fundamental rights in Ireland and South Africa.

A group of PhDs from the School of Sociology in University College Dublin, Ireland have decided to take action and connect with other PhDs and early stage researchers across the human sciences in Ireland.
